The food quality at lunch and dinner is superb.
The standard double room lacked basic maintenance with broken fixtures and a toilet that did not flush properly. The lack of cleanliness and attention from the front desk left me feeling unwelcome.

Property was good old and fabulous, we greatly enjoyed this place.
the breakfast was excellent and there was a great selection of food to choose from. location: the hotel was not far from the hill on the edge of town, and the surrounding mountains.

Mixed feelings about this
The ambience enchants with vintage charm , and the staff's attentiveness transforms your stay into a nice experience. Breakfast options tantalizingly cater to various tastes, ensuring satisfaction.
My major concern was the inconsistent hot water supply which disrupted relaxation. Limited WiFi access confined to public areas hindered connectivity for those needing it.

The charming heritage decor reminded me of stepping into a storybook, and the fireplace added a cozy warmth, made the evenings magical for us seniors.
Quieter dining experience for seniors would be appreciated.

Amazing Views and Service!
The staff was super friendly, especially Mr Girish. The view from our Beautiful Queen Room was amazing. The Earl's Secret restaurant served delicious meals, but wow, they were a bit pricey. One thing though, it could get a little noisy in the dining area at peak times.

I stayed in a Beautiful Bungalow for 2 nights, and it felt super cozy. The room had an authentic vintage charm, very much a throwback to the early 1900s. The fireplace was a nice touch, perfect for the chilly nights, and I really appreciated the hot water bottles provided. The view from the room was fine, overlooking Ooty's hills. The only thing was that I would have liked a bit more attention to the small maintenance aspects. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay for sure.

Cannot find any fault. This hotel was really good and we were happy to leave the place feeling satisfied with our experience in this city.

This hotel offers exceptional value for your money, with reasonably priced rooms and a range of amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the well-maintained gardens to the historical decor that evokes a sense of the British Colonial era. The location of the hotel in the hills of Ooty provides a peaceful and picturesque backdrop, away from the hustle and bustle of the market area.
The hotel does a great job of providing all the necessary amenities and services for a pleasant stay.
